Every year a handful of companies are chosen to represent the Start-up Nation in a roadshow targeting USA potential customers from academia and industry. The Materials Zone platform was selected because of its ease of use within labs and benches.
The roadshow started in New York City whereby Columbia University was the destination in which we’d get to showcase our work first. Many business students were asking about the MZ unique business model of sharing revenue with academia and industry. Quite simply put, we’re like the Netflix of materials science.
The next stop was Washington DC which was the most exciting part of the trip. DC is, of course, a beautiful city in its own right but the university campus was what made it so grand.
The materials engineering department in which was were positioned has some amazing talent and materials data coming out of their labs.
MZ was privileged to talk with students of Professor Jim Chung from the George Washing University to find out what’s been happening over in DC 2019. They like us are prepared for sizzling 2019.
